Well this is where you basically ask me on a date and the magic happens!
I offer 1:1 mentorships to creators so that you can get the hands-on experience you need.
Why mentor with me?
Because I have built my business from the ground up with a pure-intentioned hustling heart. I’ve always kept my true personality within my business, and always keep it real. Client’s always come first, and their comfort. This is where you learn the true meaning of making acts of service into an art form! I will meet you where you are at, answer questions, show you my session flow, and much more. I am an open book and you’ll have all of my individual attention!
In-person 1:1 mentorships
• 2 hours of lovely Q&A at a local coffee shop or bakery
The Q&A is based on YOUR specific questions/wants/needs, so you’re encouraged to come prepared with a set of Qs but will also receive a detailed questionnaire so I can best serve you during our time together!
•A sunset session together with real authentic clients of mine
Following the Q&A we head to a REAL-LIFE session! This way your learning is genuine and based on a real-life client experience - anyone can get “pretty pictures” with a well-trained model family but I offer a storytelling experience with real/raw families so students can best apply what they learned to their own clients when they get home.
•Editing Video
An editing video of a few images we captured together is sent 2 weeks after the 1:1 mentorship

All-Day Mentorships
Upon request, I can accommodate an all-day mentorship/workshop for at least 3 students

- The location must be within 45 minutes of Springfield Mo
- Includes a studio motherhood session or newborn session (Student’s choice)
- 2-hour Q&A
- 1-hour edit session with me

Deposits are $300 each and non-refundable
- Shadow me and see how I interact with families and evoke emotion
- See my client experience process and learn the steps I take to get to know my clients and tell their story
- Learn my settings and preferred lighting
- Ask Amy Qs and get tips and advice on all things photography
- Gain access to my premier online school at a discounted rate
- Mentorships are held in or around Springfield/Branson Mo May-October on Monday nights only
- We do not edit in person together- editing video after
- You may not hand-select families - they’re real clients!
- Must be flexible with dates as the Mo weather is wild
