Hey friend! I am overjoyed that you are interested in booking a session with me. I am a lifestyle photographer, meaning that all of my work is slightly "candid" and I do not focus on portraits, or looking at the camera and smiling. My work is meant to make you FEEL the emotions of being a family, and is so much deeper than curated and practices smiles.

You will be fully known before you arrive at your session via a detailed client questionnaire I will send out to you in advance and once you arrive I will be ready to gear the experience to your unique family. Ready to tell your story. The session will be full of "calls to action" from me to your family to get you moving, laughing, and connecting organically.
What a session with me is like-
A family photoshoot is not meant to be stiff and practiced, with your "pretty smiles" on display. That is not who you are. A family session is meant to capture the true essence of who you are as a unit, how you connect and what makes your love so beautiful. So let go of perfection and show up ready to have FUN! We will not be looking at the camera a lot, so you can just play and be present with your children and let me do the rest.

A session with me is going to be full of surprises... ya know why? Because I feed off of each family's energy, and beautiful chaos. Do you have wild toddlers? Me too, babe! I find them a joy to chase and make laugh and I promise your favorite photo of your little one in ten years time - it wont be that forced smile..... No, it will be the image we capture when you are tickling them and letting go of perfection and your natural and organic love is captured.

Where will your photos take place? Somewhere pretty, I know that! Have a vision for a styled shoot at a fun location? Lets chat about it! If you are open- I will choose a pretty location with ideal lighting. Lighting is KEY!
Location
Almost all of my photoshoots take place at Golden Hour to capture that stunning golden glow of the sun going down. Please book with this in mind, and with the knowledge that sunset is late evening in the summer.

My ideal client is a family who is comfortable with letting me document their family in a real and raw emotive style, and not a family who prefers "cheese" and look at the camera poses.

Process
My clients get to choose their editing style during the proofing gallery process. I will send 2-3 edits and you choose the final result.
Editing Style
What you wear to the photo session is MAKE OR BREAK for your gallery results, so we work closely to ensure your outfits match my editing style. I have a small selection of women's gowns you can borrow from, if needed. I also provide access to an exclusive styling catalog with shoppable mood boards and hundreds of photography approved outfit links!
Styling
Back
I will work with you to fully style your family after booking. I do have a few women's gowns to borrow from if you wish, and the rest we will curate together from your own closet or from affordable style guide catalog I provide. Styling is super important and I am here every step of the way.
What will you wear to shoot?
Ahhh this is a wonderful Q and location can make or break the whole thing! Not to be dramatic, but location is KEY! I will send you a location questionnaire so I can learn your ideal scenery preferences and then will use that knowledge to choose our location from my pre-selected list or scout a new one for you!
